We are assisting a leading international consultancy in the search for a Programme Director to spearhead a significant airport cargo and landside logistics programme in the GCC. This senior, delivery-focused position operates within a live airport environment, emphasising cargo infrastructure, automated systems, and advanced logistics facilities. The programme is already in progress with a clear delivery timeline, necessitating a leader who can mobilise swiftly and drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver a complex airport cargo and logistics portfolio.
- Oversee cargo terminals, logistics facilities, and supporting infrastructure.
- Integrate automated systems, technology-driven solutions, and operational interfaces.
- Manage multiple stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and operators in a dynamic environment.
Required Experience:
- 20+ years in delivering large-scale infrastructure or systems programmes.
- Strong expertise in airport cargo, baggage handling systems, logistics hubs, or automated warehousing.
- Proven experience in live operational environments such as airports, logistics hubs, ports, or distribution centers.
- Demonstrated capability to lead complex, multi-discipline programmes under time constraints.
Please note, this role is not focused on airside or runway operations, terminal building responsibilities, or civils-only programmes.
