We have an urgent requirement for a dynamic Head Dam Design (CFRD and Appurtenant Structures) / Design Team Leader to lead our client’s esteemed team in the development of an ambitious 800MW, 213-meter high CFRD project in South Asia.
The candidate placed in this position will be responsible for:
- Lead the design team in conceptualising and executing the CFRD project and its appurtenant structures.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight throughout the design and construction phases.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential challenges.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- PhD degree in civil engineering from an internationally recognised or HEC/PEC recognised institution. Alternatively, a Master’s Degree holder with exceptional credentials will be considered.
- Minimum of 25 years’ overall experience in dam design and construction, with at least 20 years dedicated to dams and hydropower projects.
- Extensive expertise in CFRD design and construction, with a minimum of 15 years of direct experience in this domain.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.
