Responsibilities:
As the Operations and Performance Manager, you will be responsible for directing and managing all operational assets. Reporting to the President Director, your key responsibilities will include:
- Demonstrating exceptional knowledge and understanding of thermal power operations, fuel issues, and operational improvements.
- Identifying and driving financial and non-financial performance drivers, contributing to the success of the business.
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve operational performance, environmental health, safety, and security (EHS&S).
- Leading and managing cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and deliver results.
- Driving a culture of continuous improvement and leveraging digital solutions for operational excellence.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and serving as a trusted advisor to colleagues.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Engineering with an emphasis on Mechanical, Electrical, or Power from a recognised university. A second degree in Business Administration is preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in power plant operations, with a focus on performance management.
- Strong technical understanding of power plant operations and familiarity with modern business practices.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
