SAR 70-80K plus full expat benefits (depending on experience)

A client side position has opened for a Director of Project Controls who has mega programme capability to be based within in KSA. Our client requires a candidate with a minimum 20 years’ mixed-use experience covering Build & Infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the planning, estimating, cost control, risk management and document control services and for providing information to allow proactive and accurate reporting for the project.

 Duties and responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the project controls team
  • Develop and implement the project controls execution strategy to achieve the contract requirements
  • Developing project controls standards, policies and procedures and change management programs
  • Coordination with program management team on all aspects of project controls
  • Establishing and managing the project master schedule, budget and project cost control, risk management plan, document control and change control
  • Progress, cost and risk monitoring and analysis
  • Provide monthly and weekly reports
  • Preparing and making presentations


  • BSc in engineering is essential
  • Chartered status is preferred
  • Must be Expert user of Primavera P6 with sound knowledge of other programs such as P3 or MS Project
  • 20+ years post graduate experience
  • Sound knowledge of all engineering and commercial aspects of construction projects
  • Excellent knowledge of CPM networks, resource and cost loading and risk management techniques
  • Ability to effectively monitor and analyze progress, cost and risks, identify trends and recommend corrective actions
  • Excellent report writing skills
