We have a very exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Operations Director to join a Leading International Programme Management Consultancy and run their UAE operation. The right candidate for this role will have held an Operations/ Country Director role for a large organization in the Middle East, overseeing $Multi Billion programmes.

Candidates applying for this role will be from a Project Management background, will have previously managed large P+L accounts and will have successfully secured new work within the Middle East.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships and key stakeholders
  • Business development to ensure repeat business and generate new work
  • Ensure financial objectives for the projects within KSA are delivered
  • Ensure all technical and commercial aspects of the projects within KSA are delivered
  • Manage all programme risk and contingencies
  • Direct staff and resources to meet program delivery and business requirements
  • Ensure compliance with the company business management system
  • Manage the P+L account for the KSA business

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Construction related subject
  • Minimum 20 years’ post-graduate experience
  • Must have held an Operations/ Managing Director/ Country Director role
  • Experience in leading on mega billion dollar iconic programs in the GCC
  • Experience of leading business and managing a large P&L account
  • Experience in planning, managing and successfully delivering on projects involving numerous stakeholders
  • Proven success in the delivery of large projects
  • Proven ability to lead, organize ad direct large multi-national organisations
  • Must have managed large teams ( 200+ people)
