We have a number of requirements for experienced Nephrologists to join a leading healthcare provider in various locations across Saudi Arabia.

Requirements for these roles are:

  • 10-15 years experience
  • PhD in Nephrology
  • Nephrology fellowship

Responsibilities:

• Conducts at a minimum weekly bedside round including teaching and guidance for overall treatment with nephrology residents and specialists

• Oversees long-term care planning, including counseling about, and referral for transplantation when appropriate

• Coordinates with Saudi Ministry of Health (MOH) hospitals and provision of documentary requirements needed in case of emergencies or travel

• Provides discharge summary/handover report to attending nephrologist in case of admission

• Evaluates all new patients, coordinates with nursing staff for diagnosis and short- and long-term treatment management

• Ensures thorough documentation is available in patient charts of individual treatment and follow-up

• Leads local dialysis committees and administrative functions in coordination with the clinic head nurse

• Identifies issues affecting normal clinic operations, patient care, visitor safety or teammate well-being and coordinates with head nurse, regional medical director (RMD) and/or regional operations director (ROD) to devise and implement corrective action plans

• Tracks and monitors all quality improvement data and clinical audits on monthly basis within the center, with quarterly reports to RMD

• Observes all safety measures applicable to patients with end stage renal disease

• Ensures center preparedness at all times to handle emergency care of patients, including proper training of teammates, equipment readiness, and procedures in place

• Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities

• Performs approved vascular procedures (e.g., temporary dialysis line insertion) and provides direct supervision of other physicians during performance of vascular procedures

• Assumes responsibility of patients’ vascular access with direct supervision of physician access mangers and nurse access mangers and ensure patients preparedness to vascular surgeries
